BUS STOP FILMS - ACCESSIBLE FILM STUDIES PROGRAM

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Through a collaborative partnership, Screen Canberra supports the delivery of Bus Stop Films; Accessible Film Studies program, in an accessible, creative learning environment.

The Program is taught by industry professionals, with the assistance of disability support workers. Students have the opportunity to learn all things filmmaking in a supportive environment, here in Canberra.

The year long program is based on their Accessible Film Studies Curriculum and inclusive learning philosophy to see their students shine and build transformative life skills including improving social and communication skills, developing friendships, increasing confidence and work ready skills.

Students benefit from exclusive workshops, excursions, workplace opportunities, and work collaboratively on a film project.

The Canberra course runs on Saturdays from February to December, and enrolments open in November of each year for the following year.
