Filming of a second season of ABC TV’s hit thriller The Code will begin in Canberra this year, along with a new adaption of Helen Garner’s award-winning Australian book Joe Cinque’s Consolation. The ABC TV and Playmaker Media co-production has been given new funding as part of a special agreement with the government, Screen ACT director Monica Penders said on Monday. The Code’s second season will reportedly see brothers Ned and Jessy Banks facing extradition to the United States over top secret national security breaches. |
