Shoreline Acquires OZ ZOM COM

Shoreline Entertainment has signed Me and My Mates vs the Zombie Apocalypse for international sales and will be showcasing it as part of their lineup for the 2015 Cannes Film Market.

Producers Daniel Sanguineti and Christian Doran are both delighted to be working with Shoreline to bring their hilariously gratuitous and offensive zombie romp to worldwide audiences. Doran flew to Hollywood to finalise the agreement with Shoreline and to discuss the worldwide release strategy.

Written and directed by comedic filmmaker Declan Shrubb, the plot follows three telecom tradesmen who hide in a telephone exchange during a zombie invasion. The film stars internationally renowned comedian Jim Jefferies, YouTube superstar Alex Williamson and Australian comic legend Greg Fleet. It also stars SBS Pop Asia personality Andy Trieu, ABC’s Skitbox’s Adele Vuko and Matt Popp in his debut feature film role.

The film was produced entirely in Canberra, Australia and was supported by ACT Government and ScreenACT.

Local Distributor Titan View will be releasing the film via their newly formed genre label, Gorgon Films. Fans across Australia will be able to demand the film through the Tugg Australia platform.

The official Australian trailer of the film will be launched at GammaCon, Canberra’s Pop Culture expo on Friday May 22nd 2015, as part of a Canberra film showcase.
